Ingrid B. Clayton
Ingrid is one of the authorities. She’s an educator and a real estate investor, owning properties in Canada and the United States. With a Bachelor of Science, a Masters in Education, and over twenty-three years of experience teaching high school math and computer science; she knows the value of teaching young people financial literacy from a tender age.
Over the last few years she has seen, more and more, the devastating effects that debt and other unwise financial decisions brings to families. She has made it her life’s goal to change the education system to include teachings on the basics of living financially wise, such as investing, budgeting, good and bad debt, doing taxes, and smart spending habits. She’s also creating financial literacy courses to help young adults get the training they need so that they can avoid bad decisions, or reverse the beginning of the debt cycle before it becomes irreversible.
As a long-term educator and math teacher of over twenty-three years, Ingrid Beckford-Clayton has intimate knowledge of what today’s young people are facing, and how the education system is not changing to match their needs.
Ingrid and her husband immigrated to Canada in 2000 and have worked hard to create the life they want to live by increasing their financial IQ, and making good investments in real estate. Now she wants to help others especially young people escape the trap of the debt cycle and live financially free.
